Few words from Peter (Lead developer of the game)

Comrades,

Today is a great day. After more than 5 years since the Early Access release, we are finally launching the game in its 1.0 version. It has been a long but fascinating journey! This project has taken 7 years of my life, and it has changed my life.

Thank you to all the team members: Martin, Michal, Vlado, Karel, Robs, Krzysztof, and many others who dedicated their souls to this project and helped me finish this monster. Special thanks to Everyone at Hooded Horse for assisting with the release and promotion of the game. And a big thank you to all the players who brought ideas, alerted us to problems, and helped us improve the project. I apologize for any issues you may have encountered.

This is not the end of development. While you play the game, we will continue updating it and even adding new features. We have also started a new project, so please keep your fingers crossed that everything goes smoothly and we can bring it to you soon!

Enjoy the game!

Peter

Hello comrades!

I found this game a couple of days ago and I'm in love with the concept! Every content I've seen so far have been nothing but praise.

Unfortunately I don't have a good enough pc to play it. Are there any plans to release on consoles?

Superb job regardless!!!

I am a new player with a few hundred hours in and I absolutely love your game. Although I too would like to see new content, I would love to see more effort put into polishing the game.

The most important is communicating information to the player. Without spending a considerable amount of time in the game, it is not possible to plan industry complexes, because the player is not aware of the often implicit inputs and outputs as well as byproducts needed for production chains. For example the mechanics of work shifts are not explained in the game. Despite the useful overlays, a lot of useful information stays hidden, making it hard to troubleshoot infrastructure problems and the player…

I think that biomes should contain more game changing mechanics. It is a great idea to have this kind of maps, but it feels like community mod rather that DLC. I mean something unique for biomes

If I were to write down what to add, etc., I would copy and paste from previous or previous reports;

And here I have ideas that can develop the game more or make it more realistic, a few reports ago I developed with a guest a suggestion to add more advanced education mechanics that would add secondary schools such as technical schools, high schools and vocational schools, as well as post-secondary schools that could increase the productivity of citizens as well as bonuses to productivity in the field in which a given citizen is engaged, e.g. if there is a citizen who graduated from a technical school and is educated as a mechanic or electrician, he will have higher productivity…

I really appreciate your enthusiasm and many of the features you have pointed out I would absolutely want to play with too. I'm sure most of other players also have a desire to make the interlocking simulations resemble real life as much as possible.

But perhaps we should not miss that this is a game, and what makes games of this genre fun is the quality of emergence. When simple elements create something bigger than themselves it seems as something is coming alive. And that is precisely the allure of such games with interlocking simulations. More complexity is not necessarily beneficial. For instance, consider the product "Chemicals". What if the game was faithful to reality and we had hundreds o…
